Our Client needed our help to create a beautifully bespoke dressing room design in the Cotswolds.
The dressing room is located within the Master Suite at their Cotswold Mill and sits in between the Bedroom and the now, large En Suite. Residual space to the left of the original large bathroom, enabled a new Dressing Room to be created.
I gave Rhian a brief, the dressing room had to be functional, sympathetic with the listed building surroundings, it needed to flow from bedroom to dressing room then onto en suite & above all personal. All of which Rhian has to date delivered.
This bespoke design required a lot of attention to detail. It is narrow in shape and a doorway was required at either end of the room, in order to create access throughout the entire Master Suite.
With no natural light, limited space and a large collection of belongings, we had to be creative with the design. We wanted to maximise the space amidst a calm sense of place and luxury.
In the absence of colour we knew that the design required more interest ,which we planned into the layout, materials, finishes and lighting.
An opportunity for personalisation included a bespoke Make-Up destination at one end. We also created a more unique hanging arrangement and perch area within the design.
Our Client wanted modern touches and a sense of unique throughout their bespoke dressing room design in the Cotswolds. This became a collaborative process during the selection of lighting, tiling, upholstery, finishes and accessories.
We completed all of the required drawings, specification, sourcing and briefing of the appropriate Joiner required to make and install.
