Our Clients wanted our help to create a cosy Cloakroom design in Warwickshire.

The Cloakroom is located within their Manor House and is largely used for guests who visit the couple. Tucked out of view, under the large central staircase, it sits amidst the old victorian quarters where the Bootroom and Laundry Rooms are also located.  With no natural light and a limited amount of space, a design brief to capitalise on a cosy feeling felt a great design direction to pursue.

The loo is again, warm, and cosy, where it had also been uninviting before.

Formerly a magnolia box and with just the original sanitary ware to work with, we knew that a few simple changes could make a big difference. We introduced a colour scheme, pattern and practical improvements in tiling and storage throughout the space.

There was a great opportunity for pattern within the room and one which could potentialise on a warmer, rustic feeling. Mindful of the depth in the original floor tiles, we proposed a wallpaper from Coordonne. With this design, our Clients had a bit of choice on the selection of tone and depth in colour.

Pink Ground from Farrow and Ball finished the walls and the new curved cabinet sourced for the room.  This was installed to tidy up previously exposed pipework and provide a little storage.

Since completion, this cloakroom design has received many positive comments from guests who visit. Upon request, we’ve since proposed Sea Pink from Sanderson for the hallway walls within the quarters. This creates an even more beautiful approach to this cosy cloakroom design in Warwickshire.

We also helped our Clients with the interior design of their Living Room and their new Holiday Home on their grounds. To find out more, about how we can design an interior for you to feel right at home, click here.
