Our Clients needed our help to create a beautifully bold colour Kitchen design in Cheltenham.
The Kitchen is part of a Kitchen/Diner/Lounge and sits at the rear of this Townhouse. Our Clients had lived with the existing space for a few years and found its design brought them little joy. Attempts at re-painting the cupboards hadn’t work out, and it was soon clear that the overall lifeless feeling in the room had to go.
There was an opportunity for so many improvements to this living space. They included a more practical and efficient kitchen, flexible dining and a cosier seating area for all to enjoy.
With a lot to do however, we took a step by step approach to this renovation with our Clients, supporting them through the layers of development. This involved comprehensive research, planning, sampling and illustration, alongside bespoke sourcing for installation.
A colourful spacious environment with a place for everything and a logical working kitchen layout. Rhian has assisted at every step and worked flexibly and tirelessly with us.
Previously full of white and grey, the room was near enough emptied. Whilst practicality and performance were required in the new design, warmth and positivity were equally important.
An initial proposal with a relaxing, harmonious colour palette, was welcome for this north-east facing space. Our Clients liked the idea of the teals and greens becoming the core colours within the room.
In addition to bolder tones, our Clients liked touches of Modern Deco styling and a reclaimed feel. Mindful of this within their design, we proposed a collection of nuances over more dominant, stereotypical features. For example, the handless kitchen style, curved cupboards, wall lights, upholstery combinations and the use of oak, mirror and metallic.
Our Clients absolutely love their bold colour kitchen design in Cheltenham. As keen cooks, they appreciate the space everyday and continue to share their joy with friends and family. We’re now helping our Clients with the interior design for the rest of their Home in Cheltenham.
